As Christmas marks the birth of our Lord, it was intended to bring to earth a profound spiritual message for the whole of humankind, that of a new beginning, and a new Hope. Throughout history, Freemasons have impacted society by building themselves up to become modern-day warriors that are equipped with the ideal and understanding of the true “Universality of Man” – an ideal that unites Men across every race, culture and creed. In doing so, Freemasons become “men of action”, impacting all those around them with that love and harmony that they are taught in it.
“My wish for a happy Christmas is a wish for fraternity, Fraternity among individuals of every nation and culture. Fraternity among people with different ideas, yet capable of respecting and listening to one another. Fraternity among persons of different religions.” Pope Francis
And so we will be Brethren, respectful of each other’s sacred right to their own opinions and views even if they differ from ours. Holding each other with the highest RESPECT and PROTECTING that Brother (and his reputation and right to differ) in his absence as well as in his presence. Anything less than this will not be acceptable and shall be considered as “Behaviour unbecoming of a Freemason.”
Let us all take some time away from the politics and the economy and practice the ancient and fine art of Gratitude to The Great Architect of the Universe for favours already received, for our families, our Brothers, and his unwavering support and blessings throughout our lives.
May you and your loved ones remain blessed and may our unity and our love for each other grow stronger and stronger.
Wishing you all a very blessed Christmas and a joyous new year ahead!
