The Grand Lodge of Scotland’s 3rd International Scottish Masonic Conference

[:en]The Grand Lodge of Scotland’s 3rd International Scottish Masonic Conference (ISMC) was hosted by the District Grand Lodge of the Bahamas on the 15 – 19 of May 2019, in Nassau, at Paradise Island, Atlantis Resort, in the Bahamas.
The 3rd ISMC’s theme was “unity from diversity” and included interesting presentation from various speakers. Break out sessions held for small focus groups aimed at covering important topics.
This 3rd ISMC followed the very successful 2nd Scottish Masonic Conference held in Penang, Malaysia in February, 2016, which was organized by the District Grand Lodge of the Middle East.
The Grand Lodge of Scotland’s 27 Districts were invited and numerous Brethren from across the world were in attendance including some Grand Lodges in Amity. Delegates and Deputations from various countries attended with their spouses, and 13 District Grand Masters we’re present as well as the Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Victoria in Australia as well as many Masonic dignitaries. The conference was concluded after 3 days of Masonic deliberation, enlightenment, and fellowship in the beautiful islands of The Bahamas.
Grand Master Mason of the Grand Lodge of Scotland, Brother Ramsey William McGhee, thanked members of the District Grand Lodge of the Bahamas and their District Grand Master, Brother Joseph Recardo Curry, for hosting the event. The Grand Master Mason announced, at the closing ceremony of the conference, that the next venue of the 4th International Scottish Masonic Conference at Zambia in 2022.
“We have a had the opportunity to network with our brothers and renew friendships and I thank you all for participating” said the Grand Master Mason, Brother McGhee, as he announced the official closure of the 3rd International Scottish Masonic Conference in the Bahamas.
